Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, specifically Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques, to assist clients in managing stress, improving emotional balance, and enhancing their quality of life.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' individual stressors and goals, effectively tailoring mindfulness techniques to meet their unique needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness practices that may include meditation, breathing exercises, and self-reflection activities, aimed at fostering a deeper sense of awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate virtual group workshops focused on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building strategies, fostering community growth among participants.

• Document client progress meticulously, noting treatment plans, mindfulness interventions, and insights gained during therapy sessions to inform ongoing care.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including other therapists, healthcare professionals, and wellness coaches, to expand the breadth of integrated treatment options.

• Actively engage in personal mindfulness practices and professional development opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills and broaden your expertise in mindfulness techniques.

You will be working with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing high levels of stress, anxiety disorders, depression, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is essential.

• Experience in delivering mindfulness-based practices, particularly MBSR, is a strong asset.
