Work Environment\n

This position allows for a primarily remote working arrangement, giving therapists the flexibility to conduct sessions from their preferred locations while also engaging with an outpatient clinical team. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, identify their specific needs, and develop appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on facilitating trauma recovery, enhancing resilience, and promoting mental well-being.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) tailored for our patient demographic.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, learn coping strategies, and foster healing through shared experiences.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated and comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Respond effectively to crises, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower their healing journey.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient information.

• Participate in case consultations and professional development sessions to enhance knowledge in trauma-informed care and contribute to a culture of learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, often facing complex challenges stemming from trauma, mental health disorders, and emotional distress. This role is specifically aimed at supporting those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, which requires a deep understanding of their unique experiences and recovery needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution is essential.

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Oregon.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• A strong grasp of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building strategies.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions with proven positive outcomes.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and empathic therapeutic environment.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring the safety and support of patients.

• Proficiency in managing electronic health record (EHR) systems along with other necessary software tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in outpatient settings, specifically working with trauma survivors, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
