Work Environment\n

The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Noble Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and determine appropriate treatment modalities.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery and resilience-enhancement techniques.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to individuals and groups.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering environments where patients can safely process their experiences and cultivate coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a cohesive, integrated approach to care that considers all aspects of a patient's treatment.

• Providing crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies and offering immediate support to those in distress.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and constructive coping mechanisms.
\n
• Maintaining precise and confidential patient records in adherence with legal and ethical standards, while utilizing the electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

• Participating in case consultations, professional development opportunities, and team meetings to refine trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, encompassing a diverse adult population dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we also welcome exceptional candidates who can demonstrate relevant skills in trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Compensation and Benefits\n
