Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for adults, employing evidence-based techniques that promote healing and personal growth.

• Perform thorough bio-psycho-social assessments to evaluate client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
\n
• Provide education and training in coping and social skills, anger management, and techniques to mitigate risk behaviors such as self-injury or aggression.

• Support caretakers in enhancing their decision-making skills to effectively manage in-home behavioral challenges and improve overall family dynamics.

• Engage in regular collaboration with colleagues and other professionals to ensure holistic care for clients and their families.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required paperwork, to satisfy organizational standards.

• Participate in monthly team meetings and conduct mandatory weekly check-ins to discuss case reviews and therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adults facing a wide array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Active clinical licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• Clinical mental health training with practical exposure to adult populations.

• Familiarity with the DSM-V for assessment and diagnostic purposes.

• Ability to create individualized treatment plans, set treatment goals, and document progress notes effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.

• Demonstrated ability to provide positive behavior support in clinical settings.

• Willingness to participate in Crisis Intervention Training, enhancing your readiness to handle high-stress situations with clients.

• Post-internship experience working directly with adult clients in a clinical environment.
