Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify clients' unique experiences and challenges.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, integrating evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are responsive to diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing effective communication strategies and therapeutic techniques to foster patient resilience and emotional growth.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for patients facing mental health emergencies, applying strong assessment and intervention skills.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and the array of community resources available to help them succeed.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to deliver coordinated care, participating in regular case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending training sessions, and keeping abreast of current best practices in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will provide care to a diverse patient population that includes individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrants. Your role will involve tailoring therapy approaches to meet the cultural, emotional, and psychological needs of these individuals, ensuring an inclusive and supportive therapeutic experience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid professional license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Expertise in mental health disorders and a solid foundation in evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience in providing culturally responsive therapy to diverse populations.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with an ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with individuals from varied cultural backgrounds.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in using modern computer applications for patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
