Work Environment\n

This role offers a remote telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility and convenience in delivering care. You will engage with clients through virtual platforms, ensuring that you maintain the same level of compassion and professionalism as you would in a traditional face-to-face environment. With a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, you will enjoy a structured work routine while having the opportunity for meaningful interactions with your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use challenges, identifying co-occurring disorders with precision.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their specific mental health and substance use needs, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing clients' coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation skills.
\n
• Integrate care with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure a seamless and comprehensive approach to treatment.

• Oversee substance use monitoring and implement motivational interviewing techniques that empower clients on their recovery journey.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on the complexities of mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the significance of adherence to treatment plans.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of treatment progress, interventions, and any referrals following ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in case discussions, staff meetings, and continuous training sessions to remain well-informed about best practices in co-occurring disorder treatments.

Our client population consists of individuals dealing with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The clients you will work with often face unique challenges that require an integrated treatment approach. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Deep knowledge of the interrelationship between mental health issues and substance use disorders, with the ability to apply this understanding to clinical practice.

• Superb interpersonal and communication skills that enable effective collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

• Experience working in integrated care settings or with populations experiencing co-occurring disorders is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
