Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.

• Provide regular and detailed documentation of patient progress and therapeutic interventions, ensuring timely completion by the end of each shift.

• Maintain accurate records of patient observations and behavior to assess effectiveness of interventions and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that may include individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy, focusing on improving mental health outcomes.

• Advocate for patients by connecting them with additional services and support systems as needed.

• Manage crisis situations by applying de-escalation techniques and providing immediate therapeutic support under the guidance of nursing staff.

• Orient patients and their families to treatment protocols and ongoing therapeutic processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves a diverse population of individuals and families experiencing a broad range of mental health challenges. Our patients often come from various backgrounds and may present with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. The therapist will be focused on building therapeutic alliances and establishing trust to foster effective treatment and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Possession of a valid independent license, either as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), issued by the state of California—limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.

• Strong capacity for making clinical evaluations and developing comprehensive treatment plans.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to empathize and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology for documentation, communication, and telehealth services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
