Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and administer standardized screening tools to ascertain clients’ mental health status.

• Gather vital information that is essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment, which includes conducting mental status exams, evaluating functional impairments, and examining behavioral health histories.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that specifically address the identified symptoms and concerns of clients.

• Utilize culturally competent, trauma-informed methodologies during therapy sessions to engage with clients effectively.

• Make relevant referrals to community resources and support services to aid clients in accessing additional care.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and clinical observations in compliance with both legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in outreach activities to raise awareness of mental health services, attracting new clients and enhancing community involvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Counselor will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on adults, children, and families navigating their mental health challenges. You will be tasked with providing crisis intervention support and evidence-based therapeutic approaches to assist clients struggling with various issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Possession of an active mental health professional license in California (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a therapeutic setting is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Embrace Counseling and Consultation Services is pleased to offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
