Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions primarily through a secure telehealth platform.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients based on thorough assessments and ongoing evaluations.

• Participate in regular case discussions with fellow clinicians to foster collaboration and enhance treatment strategies.

• Engage with clients using evidence-based practices, promoting sustainable healing and personal growth.

• Document all client interactions and treatment notes accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to HIPAA regulations.

• Provide support and guidance to junior clinicians, facilitating their professional development through supervision and mentorship.

• Contribute to community outreach efforts to raise awareness about mental health resources available at Patient's Choice Psychotherapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a diverse group of adolescents and young adults facing mental health challenges. Our clients often come to us with unique backgrounds and needs, including those dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. With a goal to establish strong therapeutic relationships, you will work closely with a maximum of eight clients in group settings, fostering an atmosphere of trust and vulnerability.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
\n
• Active, unrestricted professional license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 12 hours per week, with options for full-time work (40 hours per week) depending on the employment structure chosen (1099 or W2).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients virtually.
\n
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with adolescents and young adults in a mental health setting.

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

• Experience in substance use counseling is highly valued.

• Previous remote work experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
