Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, identifying potential co-occurring disorders through structured interviews and validated diagnostic tools.

• Develop tailored, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focused on their unique challenges and strengths, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients cultivate coping mechanisms, establish relapse prevention strategies, and enhance emotional regulation skills in a supportive environment.

• Work closely with licensed psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive treatment approaches.

• Implement regular substance use monitoring interventions and engage clients using motivational interviewing techniques to effectively support their recovery efforts.

• Educate clients and their families about the dynamic interaction between mental health and substance disorders, encouraging treatment adherence and holistic lifestyle changes.

• Maintain thorough documentation of treatment interventions, client progress, and referral information in compliance with ethical standards and state regulations.

• Participate in weekly case conferences and monthly staff meetings, and pursue ongoing training opportunities in integrated care to advance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within California, allowing for the delivery of mental health services in compliance with state law.

Compensation and Benefits\n
