Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health symptoms and their impacts on daily functioning, facilitating personalized treatment methods.

• Develop and implement family-centered and culturally relevant treatment plans that reflect clients' unique backgrounds and needs.

• Provide individual and family counseling sessions, utilizing trauma-informed approaches to foster a safe therapeutic environment for all clients.

• Collaborate extensively with other clinicians and support staff, ensuring a cohesive approach to client care through effective communication and resource sharing.

• Timely complete all clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and case records in accordance with program requirements and state regulations.

• Maintain an organized caseload that may include diverse client backgrounds, ensuring each individual receives high-quality intervention tailored to their specific needs.

• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed to clients demonstrating immediate psychological distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve clients from diverse and vulnerable populations within the Escondido community, many of whom may be facing significant life challenges such as trauma, mental health disorders, and socioeconomic barriers. Understanding and respecting cultural backgrounds, while ensuring a trauma-informed care paradigm, is fundamental to your role. You will also address issues related to family dynamics and create inclusive solutions that enhance clients' overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field is required.

• Possession of an active clinical license in the state of California (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) is essential.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and empathetically.

Compensation and Benefits\n
