Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Perform initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the therapeutic goals of clients, revisiting them regularly to ensure effectiveness.

• Engage actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contributing to comprehensive care planning and collaboration for shared client outcomes.

• Provide supervision and mentorship to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, promoting professional development within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve clients grappling with substance abuse and mental health disorders within a hospice context. This unique environment necessitates a sensitive and empathetic approach, as clients may be managing end-of-life issues alongside their mental health challenges. You will play a pivotal role in helping these individuals and their families navigate this complex journey, fostering resilience and well-being during a critical time.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license in good standing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in the mental health field, with a particular emphasis on treating mood disorders and substance abuse.

• Strong skills in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the collaborative processes involved in coordinating care with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

• A demonstrated history of successful outcomes in treating clients with mood disorders and substance abuse issues.

• Experience working in a hospice, palliative care, or other end-of-life care settings is highly desired.

Compensation and Benefits\n
