Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews and maintain detailed documentation of clients' cases from initial consultation through to treatment completion.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health using evidence-based assessment tools and clinical interviewing techniques.
\n
• Develop and implement personalized intervention and recovery plans that are tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual therapy sessions and group therapy workshops that encourage client engagement and personal growth.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other mental health specialists, physicians, nurses, and social workers to create cohesive intervention strategies for patients.
\n
• Follow up with psychiatrists for clients who may require medication management, ensuring continuity of care during hospitalization or emergency situations.

• Identify and proactively address any behavioral patterns that could hinder a client's recovery, directly impacting their health outcomes.

• Support family members and caregivers in managing mental health challenges through educational and resource-sharing interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and various other mental health concerns. We approach each client with recognition of their unique life experiences and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that our interventions are both respectful and effective.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrable proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR.
\n
• Knowledge of best practices as recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, exemplifying the ability to empathize with clients while articulating treatment plans and feedback effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in a mental health counseling setting with exposure to addiction and co-occurring disorders.

• In-depth understanding of various emotional and physical health conditions relevant to mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
