Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, tailored to clients' needs aimed at reducing stress and enhancing well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' specific stressors, emotional challenges, and aspirations to inform personalized treatment strategies.

• Guide clients through various mindfulness exercises, including meditation, breathing techniques, and self-reflection practices to bolster self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Organize and lead group workshops on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and resilience-building strategies to foster community support.

• Incorporate mindfulness principles into individual therapy sessions to provide a comprehensive approach to clients’ mental health concerns and facilitate their growth.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach that fully supports clients' diverse needs.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment goals, and mindfulness interventions in accordance with best practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
