With a focus on flexible teletherapy solutions, our remote work setting allows clinicians to connect with clients from the comfort of their homes while ensuring accessibility for families. The work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique mental health needs of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and observations.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans using developmentally appropriate strategies in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary team members.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, aimed at addressing various mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower caregivers and enhance the home environment for better emotional support.
\n
• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring open communication and shared objectives for client wellness.

• Provide crisis intervention for acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and families on mental health issues, treatment options, community resources, and coping strategies to foster understanding and resilience.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings for case discussions, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities to enhance service delivery.

• Keep current with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health through continuous education and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily supports children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Our approach is holistic, focusing on both the individual and the family system, ensuring comprehensive care that promotes resilience and positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is required.
\n
• A strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities is essential.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems for documentation and treatment planning.
\n
• A genuine passion for working with children and adolescents, fostering a nurturing and trusting therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a similar role working with children and families is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and family therapy, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
