Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and nuances of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring an accurate understanding of each client’s condition.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Implement and guide therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusting approaches based on client progress and feedback.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and available treatment options, enhancing their understanding and ability to manage these conditions proactively.

• Regularly monitor client progress, documenting outcomes, and modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists.

• A proven track record of delivering positive outcomes in mental health care, particularly with mood disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of connecting with a variety of clients from diverse backgrounds.
