Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, diagnose conditions, and actively engage in developing individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions as well as family, marriage, and group counseling sessions, fostering a therapeutic alliance that promotes healing.

• Administer mental health screenings and assessments to refine treatment needs, adjusting strategies based on client progress and feedback.

• Maintain meticulous documentation, including diagnostic updates, treatment plan revisions, and case notes, ensuring compliance with company policies and confidentiality standards.

• Collaborate with team members to discuss complex cases, share insights, and enhance the collective knowledge within the department.

• Stay abreast of the latest therapeutic practices, trends, and legislative changes affecting mental health care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and educational opportunities provided by the organization.

• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the continued success of the therapy department.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your experience with co-occurring disorders, individual, and group therapy, especially in the realm of substance abuse treatment, will help to provide the thoughtful and tailored interventions that promote generational healing and foster resilience among clients and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work is required.

• Must possess a valid license in one of the following: Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
