Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, identifying symptoms, challenges, and treatment needs effectively.

• Design and implement individualized therapy plans that integrate evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique context.

• Engage in regular one-on-one sessions with clients, offering strategies and skills to help them manage their mental health challenges.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, encouraging peer support and shared experiences within a safe and welcoming environment.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive patient care.

• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality while documenting sessions and client progress in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Remain calm and composed in crisis situations, utilizing advanced crisis intervention techniques to assist clients when needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will predominantly work with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Your role will involve not only individual therapy but also developing skills to address the needs of various populations, respecting cultural differences and ensuring accessibility in treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating deep knowledge of therapeutic techniques and effective interventions.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
