Work Environment\n

This role primarily operates in a remote capacity with the opportunity to connect with clients via telehealth and in-person sessions at our outpatient office. Safe Harbor is open for services Monday through Saturday, allowing you the flexibility to create and manage your own schedule. Our supportive team atmosphere is enhanced by in-house credentialing, streamlined insurance management, and scheduling systems, ensuring you have the tools needed to focus on client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, identifying strengths and challenges that inform tailored treatment plans.

• Providing graduate-level clinical interventions, including therapy and counseling sessions, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, sharing insights and updates through documentation and regular meetings, including patient rounds, to enhance the holistic care provided to clients.

• Performing case management by consulting and collaborating with community resources and professionals to ensure clients receive the most appropriate care.

• Maintaining ethical and timely documentation in compliance with departmental standards that meet all regulatory and organizational requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, ranging from children to adults, addressing various mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Your role is to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters open communication and healing. By contributing your specialized skills and knowledge, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their individualized service goals.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Willingness to work up to 40 hours a week, including evening and weekend sessions as necessary to accommodate client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in trauma-informed care, substance abuse treatment, and pediatric mental health will be highly regarded. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of clients is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
