Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and discern suitable treatment approaches.

• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to facilitate trauma recovery, including strategies for resilience-building.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, cultivate coping mechanisms, and advance their healing journey.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in high-stress, trauma-related situations as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to promote overall understanding and healing.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation compliant with all legal and ethical regulations.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care techniques.
\n
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices related to trauma therapy to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma and exhibit symptoms related to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a member of our team, you will encounter a diverse range of patients, each with unique backgrounds and challenges, making every interaction crucial to their recovery and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a mental health setting focused on trauma care.
\n
• Strong knowledge base surrounding trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
\n
• Ability to remain composed and effective during high-stress situations.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various occupational computer applications.
\n
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy or other recognized trauma therapy methodologies is highly desirable.

• Track record of engaging in positive patient outcomes and contributing to interdisciplinary treatment planning.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy best practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
