This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance. However, you will also engage with colleagues in our Pomona, California outpatient office, fostering collaboration, support, and professional development. Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize community resources and collaborate with public and private agencies to connect clients and families with external support services when necessary. This may involve assessing client needs and facilitating referrals to appropriate services.

• Conduct clinical assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients experiencing acute or chronic mental health issues.
\n
• Provide evidence-based outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on strategies that promote positive mental health outcomes.

• Offer psychoeducation and counseling to clients and their families, guiding them on treatment adherence and supporting their understanding of therapeutic processes to improve engagement in care.
\n
• Document all client interactions thoroughly, including intake summaries, treatment progress notes, and case summaries, ensuring compliance with state regulations and NCQA standards.
\n
• Engage in departmental meetings to evaluate and refine program initiatives aimed at improving client care and implementing evidence-based practices.
\n
• Supervise and mentor Post Masters Fellows or associate-level clinicians, providing guidance and support as they develop their clinical skills.
\n
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed, responding to urgent client needs and safety concerns in alignment with mandated reporting requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our outpatient services primarily cater to individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational difficulties. You will work closely with diverse client populations, ensuring culturally competent care that respects the unique backgrounds and circumstances of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A Master's degree in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, or counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Ability to perform clinical duties in accordance with established organizational policies, state regulations, and ethical guidelines to maintain high standards of patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
