Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, employing tailored therapeutic approaches to accurately diagnose clients' mental health needs.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based methodologies, adapting therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as necessary.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, guiding clients in managing emotional distress, building coping skills, and achieving their mental health goals.

• Collaborate with a dedicated team of case managers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention to clients in acute distress, using your expertise to stabilize situations compassionately and effectively.

• Engage actively in community outreach and education initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma, to build a supportive network within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working with a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. The clients you will serve come from varied backgrounds, including different ethnicities, cultures, and socioeconomic statuses. Your ability to establish rapport and work with individuals with differing viewpoints and experiences is paramount in this role. Cultural competence and sensitivity will enhance your relationships with clients, contributing positively to their therapeutic experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Active and independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse populations, ensuring effective communication and understanding.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage caseloads effectively and ensure timely documentation of client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working within a detox center or similar substance abuse rehabilitation setting will be a significant advantage. Familiarity with evidence-based practices, crisis intervention, and group therapy facilitation will be highly appreciated in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
