This position is fully remote, allowing you to utilize our advanced telehealth platform to conduct therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history, strengths, and needs, developing personalized treatment strategies accordingly.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience through evidence-based methodologies.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to provide effective therapeutic interventions.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that help patients process their trauma and develop essential coping strategies.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population consists of diverse backgrounds and experiences, necessitating a therapist who is empathetic and adaptable in their approach. Understanding and addressing the unique needs of each patient is crucial for fostering their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly with trauma survivors.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches, demonstrating competence in utilizing various therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to connect with patients in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.

• The ability to manage stress effectively and remain composed during high-pressure situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
