Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, including intake evaluations and mental health status exams, to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement, coordinate, and refine clinical treatment programs for clients experiencing acute or chronic mental health issues, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices.
\n
• Facilitate outpatient psychotherapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing therapeutic techniques suited to each unique situation.
\n
• Document and maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress, treatment plans, and summaries, in accordance with state and NCQA regulations.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to evaluate the need for psychotropic medications and monitor client medication adherence.
\n
• Supervise and mentor Post Masters Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage Family Therapists, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors as needed.
\n
• Provide support and guidance to family members of clients, equipping them with the knowledge to assist in treatment adherence and understanding of the therapeutic processes.
\n
• Participate in weekly staff meetings and case conferences to discuss treatment efficacy and explore interdisciplinary approaches to client care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution.

• Active California licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and ability to implement them effectively in diverse clinical settings.

• Proficient in the use of telehealth technologies and electronic health record systems.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health therapy, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Prior experience with crisis intervention and treatment for complex mental health issues.

• Knowledge of community resources and referral systems.
\n
