Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work environment that prioritizes the well-being of our staff while ensuring that our patients receive exemplary care. The community health clinic setting means that while you work from home, you will still be closely connected to our multidisciplinary team through regular virtual meetings and consultations. Our structured work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed mental health therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify the needs and strengths of patients.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Providing individual, couples, and family therapy, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and more.

• Facilitating support and psychoeducational groups that foster community support and education on various mental health topics.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

• Offering crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients on their conditions, treatment options available, and resources in their community.

• Maintaining precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating actively in case consultations and contribution to professional development activities.

• Remaining informed about the latest research and developments in mental health therapy to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population is diverse, comprising individuals from various backgrounds who are experiencing mental health challenges. You will work with patients dealing with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will not only involve therapeutic intervention but also fostering a sense of community and hope among patients.

Qualifications\n

We require candidates to hold a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. You must possess valid licensure in the state of Arizona as one of the following:

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant mental health counseling experience is required, candidates with substantial experience in a community health setting or who are versed in group facilitation will be given preference. Strong interpersonal communication skills and sound judgment in maintaining professional boundaries are also essential.
