Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine the most appropriate treatment methodologies.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique journey towards trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping mechanisms, and promoting overall emotional healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate assistance when needed.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources to aid in their recovery process.

• Maintain accurate, respectful, and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in routine professional development activities to stay current with research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary responsibility will be to serve individuals dealing with complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and dissociative disorders. Many of our patients have experienced significantly distressing events, and your expertise will be crucial in guiding them toward understanding and overcoming their experiences. You will play a vital role in helping these individuals work through their emotions and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in a clinical mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
