Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gather detailed insights into patients' trauma histories, identifying their specific needs and establishing appropriate treatment modalities.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the application of evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Engage in active collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses the multifaceted needs of clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and timely support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and emotional stability.

• Educate patients and their families regarding the impacts of trauma, effective coping techniques, and available therapeutic resources, empowering them in their healing journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse patient population consisting primarily of trauma survivors experiencing conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By using tailored therapeutic interventions, you’ll be directly contributing to their journey toward recovery and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts is essential.

• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a non-judgmental approach to treatment.

Preferred Experience\n
