Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that our clients receive tailored care directly from the comfort of their homes. You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals who collaborate to support our clients effectively. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, presenting issues, and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies, ensuring they align with clients' goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate effective individual and group therapy sessions tailored to aid clients in processing trauma, acquiring coping strategies, and endorsing emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, ensuring an integrative approach.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating compassion and professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Educate clients and families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and the variety of resources available to aid in their recovery.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards related to patient care.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on the latest trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensing as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
