Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and delineate appropriate treatment interventions.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, enabling clients to effectively process their trauma experiences and develop coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to coordinate care and ensure that clients receive comprehensive treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention and responsive support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure immediate safety and stabilization of clients.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and navigate available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

You will primarily work with adults who have been impacted by severe trauma and are seeking support in their recovery journey. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.
