Vibrant Minds Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist. This full-time position allows you to work remotely while making a substantial impact in the lives of individuals recovering from trauma. Work Environment\n

While the role is primarily remote, therapists may occasionally work in an outpatient office setting, ensuring flexibility in engaging with clients. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gauge patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment modalities.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery and resilience, utilizing innovative techniques based on the unique needs of each patient.

• Provide a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting approaches to suit individual patient experiences.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, offering a space for clients to process their trauma experiences, develop effective coping mechanisms, and engage in healing strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care, participating in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations, providing immediate support and interventions for trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, empowering them to actively participate in the recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with advancements in trauma therapy, incorporating innovative practices into your therapeutic work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to violence, abuse, neglect, and other distressing life events. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid licensure as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, particularly in settings focused on trauma recovery.

• Proven ability to deliver trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Aptitude for managing high-stress situations while maintaining a supportive environment for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
