Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility and the convenience of working from a comfortable setting while actively engaging in our outpatient office model. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with possible variations based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine personalized treatment plans.

• Craft and implement tailored treatment strategies focused on promoting recovery from trauma and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at helping participants process their experiences, coping mechanisms, and paths to healing.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses and effective coping strategies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on current research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy to continuously enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients may include a range of demographics, and your understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds will be essential in crafting effective therapies that resonate with each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Proficient knowledge in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed interventions.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapies and evidence-based practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, alongside a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• A calm demeanor in high-pressure situations and the ability to remain composed.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• A readiness to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years in a similar role is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma therapy, group facilitation, or crisis intervention are highly valued. Familiarity with multidisciplinary treatment models and integrated care practices will set you apart in this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers an annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
