This position is entirely remote, allowing you flexibility while delivering high-quality telehealth services. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your role will involve a variety of key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ individual trauma histories and identify appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building, leveraging best practices in therapeutic modalities.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate client healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma experiences and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care that addresses all facets of client wellbeing.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate assistance when needed.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and efficacy of various coping mechanisms.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client sessions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, multidisciplinary team meetings, and ongoing professional development centered on trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research, methodologies, and tools relevant to trauma therapy and mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with clients who have experienced trauma that has led to disorders such as PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population reflects a diverse range of demographics and backgrounds, each requiring tailored approaches to therapy that respect their individual experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must hold:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and therapies, along with a commitment to utilizing trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
