Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of trauma injury patients through initial evaluations, actively listening to their concerns to gain a comprehensive understanding of their mental and emotional state.

• Develop customized treatment plans aligned with each patient’s unique needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and coping strategies.

• Facilitate regular counseling sessions to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support.

• Educate both patients and colleagues on effective stress management and trauma coping mechanisms, empowering them with practical skills.

• Coordinate with various community resources, healthcare providers, and social services to ensure patients receive holistic support and access to additional services.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge by completing continuing education courses necessary for National Certified Counselor certification and to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who have experienced trauma-related injuries, including those suffering from PTSD, anxiety disorders, and emotional distress. Your engagement with this patient population is critical in helping them reclaim their well-being and overcome the psychological effects of trauma. Through one-on-one counseling sessions, you will create a safe space for clients to share their experiences, ultimately guiding them through their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
