Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' traumas and inform tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Assist patients in processing traumatic experiences, learning effective coping strategies, and building healthy trauma responses.

• Deliver crisis intervention support, guiding patients during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and local resources available for further assistance.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research and clinical practices related to trauma therapy to continuously improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve are individuals primarily affected by trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Your work will revolve around providing empathetic and understanding support, helping them navigate their recovery journey through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure during high-stress scenarios.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting our commitment to recognizing the qualifications and contributions of our therapists.
