Work Environment\n

In our innovative telehealth facility, you will work within a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to trauma-informed care. The work schedule generally runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the diverse needs of our patients. We utilize advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain comprehensive documentation and streamline communication across our multidisciplinary team. As a remote role, you will have the convenience of working from anywhere while staying connected with colleagues through regular virtual meetings and consultations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds, trauma history, and present mental health status.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and cultivate effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care tailored to individual patient needs.

• Provide crisis intervention support during emergencies involving trauma or related mental health crises.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation, adhering to both legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education activities to enhance skills in trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including those struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. You will provide a safe space for clients to address their mental health needs, fostering trust and promoting recovery through tailored therapeutic interventions. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

• Proficient understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment methodologies, as well as a commitment to employing trauma-informed care principles.

• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.
