Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the nuanced needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, carefully evaluating each patient's trauma history to identify effective treatment approaches.

• Develop individual treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, tailoring approaches to each patient’s specific experiences and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster healing and personal growth.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and promote emotional well-being.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure the provision of integrated care that encompasses all facets of the patient's needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calm and composed professionalism under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, pinpointing effective coping mechanisms and available resources within the community.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with professional and legal standards, ensuring accuracy and accessibility in patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to serve individuals grappling with the effects of trauma. • An accredited Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally within a trauma-informed context.

• A comprehensive understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and therapeutic interventions, highlighting effective patient-centered approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental therapeutic style.

Preferred Experience\n
