Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth preliminary interviews to gather a comprehensive understanding of clients’ mental health status, documenting all relevant information throughout the treatment process.

• Evaluating clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through standardized assessments and clinical interviews.
\n
• Developing tailored intervention and recovery plans that attend to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and group settings.
\n
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that incorporate various therapeutic techniques to help clients achieve their treatment goals.
\n
• Monitoring and documenting client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the highest standard of care.
\n
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, physicians, nursing staff, and social workers to enhance the holistic care of clients.
\n
• Tracking follow-ups with psychiatrists and attending physicians for any clients who require hospitalization or specialty care.

• Recognizing and addressing behaviors that may hinder recovery, along with providing education and resources to clients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in guiding these individuals through their healing journeys, utilizing your clinical skills and empathy to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrable experience as a mental health counselor or therapist.
\n
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record systems, with a strong preference for experience with AVATAR.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Knowledge and experience in managing underlying physical and emotional health conditions as well as addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with the best practices and guidelines from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the effects of medications prescribed by medical professionals.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside exemplary interpersonal and empathic abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
