Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status and specific challenges they are facing.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and appropriate interventions.

• Provide evidence-based therapy to clients through one-on-one sessions and group therapy formats, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities.

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse range of clients who may struggle with conditions such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. You will employ culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic techniques to ensure that treatment is effective and respectful of each client's unique background and experiences. Your ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various demographics will be essential in facilitating their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent in the state of New York.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting.

• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Experience facilitating both individual therapy and group sessions with a focus on inclusivity.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, maintaining composure and effectiveness in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology for documentation and client management.

• A commitment to upholding professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality, and establishing professional boundaries.

• The ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
