As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Privia, you will operate in a fully remote work environment, employing telehealth platforms to conduct therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments during initial client meetings to evaluate mental health status and identify appropriate treatment goals and strategies.

• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized therapy plans for ongoing client care and regularly monitor client progress through follow-up sessions.

• Provide therapeutic support to clients experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders.

• Engage in continuous communication with clients, equipping them with coping strategies and tools to facilitate their recovery process.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure comprehensive care, including referring clients to psychiatrists and other specialists.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity to address the diverse backgrounds of our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from adolescents to adults facing various mental health conditions. They may include those dealing with substance abuse, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and relationship difficulties. As a mental health counselor, you will tailor your approach to meet the individual needs of each client, ensuring that therapy is effective and inclusive, and respects their unique experiences and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• A minimum of four years of direct experience providing mental health counseling within diverse client settings.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention capabilities with a proven ability to handle challenging situations calmly.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a rapport with clients and effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and maintaining accurate and confidential client documentation.

• A commitment to ethical practice, including the maintenance of confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
