Work Environment\n

This role is predominantly remote, allowing you to create a conducive work setting that aligns with your professional needs while ensuring optimal care for your patients. However, occasional visits to the outpatient office in Santa Ana may be required for team meetings, case consultations, and other collaborative efforts. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate the patient’s history and inform individualized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans focusing on promoting trauma recovery and building resilience through evidenced-based practices.

• Provide various therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to help patients navigate their trauma experiences, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster healing.
\n
• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in alignment with legal standards, best practices, and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular professional development and participate in case consultations and team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to integrate best practices into clinical work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals suffering from trauma-related disorders, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the unique challenges these patients face will be essential for providing the highest quality of care. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, specifically in trauma-focused therapeutic practices.

• Proven track record of delivering trauma-focused therapies, demonstrating a strong capability to positively impact patient outcomes.

• Excellent communication skills and an ability to empathize with patients in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other related software tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
