Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individuals’ unique recovery goals and challenges, focusing on trauma resilience and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and enhance their emotional and psychological resilience.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care that emphasizes holistic patient support.

• Deliver crisis intervention services as needed and provide emotional support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and families concerning trauma responses and coping techniques, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources necessary for ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development focused on advances in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center primarily serves individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. We strive to meet the diverse needs of our clientele, ensuring that each patient feels understood, valued, and empowered throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong grounding in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards the diverse experiences of patients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, with an ability to effectively work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with less experience who are passionate about trauma-informed care may be considered. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and understanding of resilience-building interventions is a significant asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
