Inside Access Psychotherapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. This role primarily involves providing telehealth services to individuals who have experienced trauma, fostering their mental well-being, and guiding them toward recovery.

Work Environment\n

This position is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a flexible schedule. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; however, some flexibility in scheduling may be required based on patient needs and emergency interventions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that focus on recovery from trauma and the enhancement of resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma experiences and develop robust coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to safeguard client welfare.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses, managing symptoms, and utilizing coping strategies effectively.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential records in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with telehealth regulations.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, and take part in professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including sexual abuse, combat experiences, and natural disasters. The clients range from adolescents to adults, each presenting unique challenges and requiring tailored therapeutic approaches to promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment strategies.
\n
• Expertise in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress environments, facilitating positive patient interactions and outcomes.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology necessary for effective telehealth service delivery.
\n
• Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting is preferred, particularly with trauma-focused populations.

• Prior involvement in evidence-based trauma therapy modalities is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
