Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting, promoting flexibility while still ensuring collaborative engagement with our team. We operate during standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling required based on patient needs. Our outpatient office provides an inclusive and safe space designed to facilitate healing and empowerment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement individualized therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address trauma recovery.

• Provide consistent individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma and building vital coping strategies.
\n
• Engage collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care for every patient.

• Respond to crises with appropriate intervention techniques during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available community resources to support recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with research advancements and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously refine therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other adverse life events. We emphasize the importance of building trusting relationships and fostering a safe therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences and work towards healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, unrestricted licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Adeptness in managing high-stress situations with professionalism and calm.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• Team-oriented mindset, eager to collaborate with other professionals for client care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly focused on trauma care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, our benefits package includes:
