Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine their specific needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping patients process their trauma, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support when patients face trauma-related emergencies or acute mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals grappling with the repercussions of trauma, such as PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Our patients may include survivors of abuse, veterans, and those who have faced significant loss or trauma in various forms. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a strong focus on trauma-related disorders.
