This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing for flexibility and comfort while providing care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments of patient needs upon intake, gathering comprehensive personal histories and psychological evaluations.

• Design individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapies, with a strong emphasis on trauma recovery methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate one-on-one and group therapy sessions that empower patients to confront their trauma and develop essential coping strategies.

• Actively collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to each patient's care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during incidents related to trauma, guiding patients through critical moments.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma management, resilience, and community resources available for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of sessions and treatment plans in line with organizational and legal standards.

• Engage in regular training and development sessions, staying informed about advancements in trauma therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve are predominantly adults and adolescents who have experienced various forms of trauma. Your approach will be foundational in helping them navigate their emotional landscapes, re-establishing safety and trust in their lives. Empathy, patience, and a thorough understanding of trauma psychology are essential in guiding clients through their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential for this position.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure practice in a mental health setting is required, with a focus on trauma recovery being highly preferred.

• A robust understanding of trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
