Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history, which informs the development of tailored treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience, continuously adapting to meet patient needs.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate the healing process.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma experiences, cultivate coping skills, and enhance emotional well-being.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient's well-being are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention support and strategies during trauma-related emergencies to ensure the safety and emotional stability of clients.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping methods, and available resources to foster understanding and promote active involvement in the healing process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves adults and adolescents suffering from the effects of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Current Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Strong foundational knowledge regarding trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Proficient experience applying trauma-focused therapies and evidence-based interventions to support client healing.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism during high-stress scenarios.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
