Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to identify clients' unique backgrounds, trauma histories, and specific needs for treatment.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental health.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy, creating an open and supportive space for clients to express their experiences and develop coping strategies together.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to provide integrated care and ensure holistic support for clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel understood and safe.
\n
• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping tools, and community resources, enhancing support systems beyond therapy sessions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and seminars focused on trauma-informed care and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base primarily consists of individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to complex trauma, PTSD, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities tailored for trauma recovery.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, maintaining a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor while interacting with clients.

• The ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations, demonstrating resilience and leadership within a therapeutic context.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and general computer applications.
\n
• The capability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring integrated and comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
