Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health conditions in senior clients, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.

• Deliver outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups through telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and comfort for clients.
\n
• Stay actively involved in team conferences to plan and evaluate treatment programs, contributing to a collaborative culture aimed at improving client outcomes.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with state regulations and NCQA standards, including preparing intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries.
\n
• Respond to client needs by researching and referring them to additional resources, ensuring they have comprehensive support throughout their care journey.

• Regularly engage in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on older adults who may be dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. By establishing trusting therapeutic relationships, you will empower clients to cope with the challenges they face while promoting resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current licensure in California as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or similar is mandatory. Please note that associates’ licenses are not billable through Medicare.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate client rapport and collaborative team interactions.
\n
• Proficient in using technology, including telehealth platforms and Microsoft Office Suite, to execute job duties effectively.
\n
• Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of multiple clients while remaining adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred but not essential.
\n
• A background in community mental health settings or knowledge of Medicare processes is a plus.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
