This position offers the flexibility of remote work while remaining integral to a team that values collaboration. Our outpatient office, though physically distanced, is well-equipped with telehealth technologies to facilitate seamless patient interactions. You will be supported by a team of professionals including psychiatrists and other mental health specialists who encourage open communication and teamwork. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms, using recognized assessment tools and methodologies.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique challenges, treatment goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, therapeutic techniques, and available treatment options to foster a supportive recovery environment.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans in response to evolving needs, ensuring effective and individualized care.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to offer a holistic approach to client treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Superior County Behavioral and Psychological Center, you will primarily work with individuals facing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to communicate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• A proven history of achieving positive treatment outcomes in mood disorder cases.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
