Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for flexibility while working within a supportive outpatient office framework. You will collaborate with psychiatrists and various other professionals to ensure the best integrated care for our patients, while also participating in regular case consultations and team meetings. The workweek typically runs from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and resilience among clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group settings.

• Guide patients in processing trauma, establishing coping mechanisms, and fostering healing through structured therapy sessions.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance is available as needed.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping methods to enhance their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all patient interactions are recorded appropriately.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, striving for continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with these clients to navigate their recovery journey, offering compassionate support and specialized therapeutic interventions to promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment strategies.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications utilized in mental health settings.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, accompanied by a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Prior experience delivering evidence-based therapies in an outpatient setting is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
